Pre-orders are advance purchases on merchandise scheduled to ship at a future date. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to secure your selections pre- season. Many of our designers often sell out in some sizes before they even reach us!
Each designer has their own estimated ship dates, which we place on the product page. We cannot guarantee these dates, but do our best to keep you informed of any changes. Shop risk free as pre-orders are returnable if postmarked within 14 days for a full refund or exchange. We understand that ordering in advance can be difficult for sizing and we are more than happy to exchange sizes or styles for you that do not work out or refund your purchase if necessary. We want you to be happy with your selections! Preorders that are placed but cancelled before arrival are subject to a 20% cancellation fee. We are happy to waive this fee if the payment is given back to you in form of a store credit. If you choose to cancel for a refund back to your credit card or paypal the 20% cancellation fee will result. We of course do not apply this policy to preorders that have not arrived within their projected shipping window.
We offer three payment options for our preorders. You may either pay in full at the time of ordering or use one of our 2 deposit options. We offer a 25% or 50% deposit option. The 25% off payment option allows you to pay 25% of the balance at the time of preorder with the remaining balance due at the time your order is ready to ship. The coupon for 25% deposit is Deposit25. A 50% deposit option is also available on pre-orders with the checkout code "Deposit50". This enables you to pay only 50% of your order total now, and the remaining 50% will be charged to your card when your items ship. With our 50% deposit option or the pay in full option you also qualify for free shipping. The coupon for free shipping on preorders is : FREESHIP. Our deposit only option are a nice way to break up the expense a bit. You may also choose to pay in full at the time of pre-ordering. When using a deposit only option your credit card will be billed automatically. If you use paypal as your method of payment, you will receive a payment request when your items are ready to ship. If your payment is not made and there is no communication/arrangements made with us within a 10 day period your order will be subject to cancellation. After 14 days of non-payment your order will be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

We do NOT require an RA for returns. We want you to be happy with your purchases, so we gladly accept returns postmarked back to our store within 14 days of arrival to you. Regular priced merchandise is returnable for a full refund if returned within the return guidelines, items returned after this time frame will be returned for store credit only. Sale items are returnable for store credit or exchange only, this includes items that are purchased with a promotional coupon . Orders with free shipping are eligible for a full refund within return timeframe guidelines, however the $6.50 shipping charge will be deducted from the refund if the updated total after returns falls below the minimum order total to qualify for free shipping. Returns of $500 or more may be charged a 20% restocking fee. We reserve the right to reduce a returns refund for the actual shipping cost if the returns are $250 or more.
Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. All returned items must be in their original condition and packaging if applicable. We cannot accept returns without tags attached. Returns with pet hair, perfume, strong orders or any damage will not be accepted. Please include your original receipt when exchanging or returning merchandise.
If You Would Like To Exchange
Please call or email before sending items for exchange only, if you are returning there is no need to call, we do not require an RA #. For exchanges it is best to let us know as soon as possible so we can ensure we have your selections and can pull those items pending the arrival of your exchange items. We will notify you upon arrival of your exchange so you know your new items have shipped.

We do offer price adjustments, if any regular priced item you purchase goes on sale, and is showing available on our website in the size/options you originally purchased within 7 days of your order date please contact us. We are happy to adjust your order and offer a store credit for the price adjustment. Certain promotions throughout the year are exempt from our price adjustment policey, such as our Anniversary sale, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and after Christmas sales are not valid for price adjustments due to the nature of those events. We feel we offer the best prices and service of any online boutique. You can trust that by shopping here, you know you will always receive reputable products, fair pricing, as well as service you can count on. Brand integrity as well as rules set by our vendors are paramount to continuing the relationships we have with all our fine designers. Therefore, manufacturer rules do limit us at certain times of the year from promotions and sales.
Layaway Program At Everything But The PrincessOur new layaway program gives you the opportunity to secure your items with just 15% down.
Payments every 2 weeks for a total of 6 weeks time to complete your layaway payments.
Order will ship upon final payment.
How to use our layaway program:
Price Adjustments, Nonpayment & PenaltiesCommunication is key, if we do not receive an initial response to set up your payment plan or if payments are missed/not completed your deposit will be forfeited and your order will be cancelled.
If we are not able to collect a payment within 5 business days from your scheduled plan and no communication is received, your layaway order will be canceled and the 15% deposit will be forfeited.
Layaway orders are not subject to price adjustments, we will not change prices if items fall on sale while your items are on layaway.
We do not allow order changes while items are on layaway but additions are accepted.
Cancellation of all or party of your layaway results in forfeiture of your deposit.
